THE teachers' strike is unlikely to end soon as Finance minister Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday told Parliament there is no money to hire more teachers. Uhuru told the House the money that could have been reallocated to hire 28,000 teachers was diverted to emergency food for the hungry. He said the Cabinet had been forced to shift Sh10 billion to deal with drought and food crisis.
