A Gambian was among the survivors of the tragic incident that claimed 77 lives on July 22nd in the Island of Utoeya in Norway.Mamie Ceesay, 18 whose family hails from the village of Tambasansang in the Upper River Region, is the daughter of one Ba-Musa Ceesay who was born in Banjul but has been resident in Norway since 1974.
