More than 17 soldiers from Puntland security forces were killed in a heavy battle between them and fighters loyal to Sheik Mohemd Sa'eed Atom, an Al Shabaab linked cleric who operate in the Golis Mountains in northern Puntland, reliable reports say on Tuesday.
