East Africa: U.S. Supports New Round of Sanctions On the Eritrea

The U.N. Security Council voted December 5 to impose new sanctions on Eritrea after hearing evidence that the East African nation has continued to support extremist groups in the region, in defiance of a Security Council resolution passed two years ago.
