Namibia: Jury Still Out On True Jobless Figure

All eyes are on the World Bank verdict on the actual Namibian unemployment figures. Government, through the National Planning Commission (NPC), has asked the World Bank, as independent experts, to verify the country's unemployment figures using the exact data that the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare collated to arrive at a national 51,2 percent unemployment rate.
