The recent summary execution of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and one of his sons while in captivity was barbaric, it clearly replicated some of Gaddafi’s atrocious activities, and may have constituted a war crime under Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
